Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage Fried Rice

This is how you make the best fried rice! This recipe is so easy to make and delicious because we added fresh, hickory-smoked Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage links, and man, it's smokin' good!

Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pack of Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage
  • 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 3 Cups Long Grain Rice (Cooked Day Before)
  • 2 Cups Frozen Broccoli Florets (Thawed)
  • 1 Whole Carrot (Julienned)
  • 1 Small Yellow Onion (Diced)
  • 1 Teaspoon Sesame Oil

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Slice three Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage Links into Medallions, Remove casing from other three and crumble into smaller pieces.
  2. In a large pan, add olive oil and turn on high heat. Add smoke sausage medallions and crumbles to flash heat and slightly brown.
  3. Add minced garlic, soy sauce, and diced onions. Stir frequently for the sausage to absorb flavors.
  4. Add leftover cooked rice and sesame oil. Stirring every 20-30 seconds for about 3-4 minutes to heat thoroughly, lightly browning and scorching rice.
  5. Add broccoli and carrots, cook for about 2 minutes. (Optional, add extra soy sauce per taste buds.)
  6. Toss for another 30 seconds to ensure all is combined well.
  7. Serve and enjoy….chopsticks optional, but highly recommended!!!
