This recipe is nostalgia in a hot dog bun and a Bright Leaf tri-fecta! It's a Bright Leaf Hot Dog loaded with hickory-smoked Bright Leaf Bacon, mac and cheese, and sweet, smoky Bright Leaf BBQ. All covered in BBQ sauce, making your taste buds go wild! This dog is a true taste of home.
Ingredients & Toppings:
- (1) 1 lb. or 2 lb. Pack of Bright Leaf Hot Dogs
- (1) 12 oz. Pack of Bright leaf Bacon
- (1) 15 oz. Container of Bright Leaf BBQ
- Hot Dog Buns
- Your Favorite Mac and Cheese
- Your Favorite BBQ Sauce

Cooking Instructions:
- Start by cooking bacon in a frying pan over low heat until golden brown. Remove from pan and drain on absorbent paper.
- While the bacon cooks, prepare mac and cheese according to package instructions.
- Once the bacon has cooled, tear it into pieces and mix it into the mac and cheese.
- Cook Bright Leaf BBQ according to container instructions.
- Preheat grill to 300 - 350°F. Place the hot dogs down on the grill grate and cook for about 5 - 6 minutes on one side. Then turn over and cook for about four to five minutes (black charred line means it's done).
- To assemble the hot dog, place a cooked hot dog in a bun, add a squiggle of BBQ sauce, a scoop of bacon mac and cheese, some cooked BBQ, and a final drizzle of your favorite BBQ sauce. Enjoy!
