Bright Leaf Loaded Homemade Fries with Pulled Pork and Nacho Cheese

North Carolina BBQ is the best in the world! This appetizer combines homemade fries with homegrown North Carolina Bright Leaf Pork BBQ. It's great for watching the game or serving your guests some great grub. It's also delicious to eat with a Bright Leaf Hot Dog!

Ingredients:

  • (1) 15 oz. Container of Bright Leaf BBQ
  • (1) 16 oz. Block of Velveeta Cheese
  • (1) Bag of Your Favorite Shredded Cheese
  • Canola Oil

  1. Cut the potatoes in half, then half again, and then cut them into 1/2-inch thick slices (the thinner, the crispier)
  2. Soak the fries in a large bowl with water for about 2 hours
  3. Drain the water and blot the fries with a paper towel to dry
  4. Drop the sliced potatoes in a pot of heated oil and fry until golden brown
  5. Take the fries out and put them on a plate with a paper towel, add salt and let them cool some
  6. Plate the fries and sprinkle shredded cheese (about two handfuls) all over
  7. Next, cook the Bright Leaf BBQ according to the instructions on the container
  8. Cover the fries in cooked BBQ
  9. Finally, add the melted nacho cheese to the pile
  10. Enjoy!
