Bright Leaf Loaded Breakfast Potatoes (Bacon)

Crispy, cheesy, and packed with bold flavor, this Bacon & Cheddar Hash Browns recipe features North Carolina’s own Bright Leaf Hickory Smoked Sugar-Free Bacon. Perfect for breakfast or a hearty snack, this dish pairs smoky bacon with golden hash browns and gooey cheddar for a Southern classic everyone will love.

 

Ingredients:

 

 

  • (1) 12 oz. Pack of Bright Leaf Bacon
  • 1 lb. (half a bag) of Southern Style Hash Browns
  • About 2 - 3 Tbsp. of Vegetable Oil
  • Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • Ranch Dressing (for dipping)

 

Cooking Instructions:

 

  1. Heat your griddle or pan to medium-high and fry the bacon until it reaches the desired crispiness. Remove the bacon from the pan, let it cool, and crumble it into small pieces.
  2. In another pan or the other side of the griddle, drizzle 2–3 tablespoons of vegetable oil and spread it evenly. Add the hash browns in a thin layer and toss lightly to coat them with oil.
  3. Let the hash browns cook, tossing occasionally until golden and crispy. Add more oil if needed during cooking.
  4. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the hash browns. Allow the cheese to melt and crisp slightly. Top the cheesy hash browns with the crumbled bacon.
  5. Using two spatulas, remove the hash browns from the griddle. Serve hot with your favorite ranch dressing for dipping. Enjoy this quick and delicious meal.
