As part of our Hot Dog Flight collaboration with the NC Pork Council, we created recipes inspired by flavors that North Carolinians love. This one combines a legendary Bright Leaf Hot Dog with Bright Leaf Chili, yellow mustard, sliced jalapeños, crunchy Hot Cheetos, and a drizzle of Texas Pete for a spicy, flavor-packed bite.
Every topping brings something to the table. It's bold, messy, and everything a great hot dog should be.
Whether you're grilling for a backyard cookout, tailgating with friends, or looking to spice up dinner, this hot dog is guaranteed to bring the heat. Just make sure you've got plenty of napkins!
Ingredients:
- (1) 2 lb. Pack of Bright Leaf Hot Dogs
- (1) 10 oz. Container of Bright Leaf Chili
- Texas Pete
- Sliced Jalapeños
- Crushed Hot Cheetos
- Mustard

Cooking Instructions:
- Grill or cook the Bright Leaf Hot Dogs until heated through with those famous black charred marks.
- Heat the Bright Leaf Chili in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Place the hot dog in a bun.
- Add a squiggle of mustard.
- Top with a generous helping of chili.
- Drizzle on some Texas Pete.
- Add sliced jalapeños.
- Finish with a sprinkle of crushed Hot Cheetos.
