Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage and Cabbage Skillet

Discover the beloved flavors of the South in this easy-to-make and budget-friendly Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage and Cabbage Skillet. Infused with the distinctive seasoning and hickory smoke of Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage, alongside the wholesome crunch of cabbage, it's a dish sure to win over the whole family.

Ingredients:

  • Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage (100% pork, natural casing, and hickory hardwood smoked)
  • (1) Head of Cabbage

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Heat your favorite pan over medium heat on the stove.
  2. Cut the cabbage in half lengthwise, then halve those halves, creating four quarters. Slice to your desired thickness.
  3. Place the sliced cabbage in the pan, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and drizzle with olive oil. Mix well and cover.
  4. Heat another pan over medium heat on a separate burner. Drizzle olive oil into the pan.
  5. Chop the Bright Leaf Loop Smoked Sausage into small pieces and add to the pan. Cook until lightly fried.
  6. Transfer the cooked sausage to the pan with the cabbage. Continue cooking until the cabbage reaches your desired tenderness (approximately 45 minutes after adding the sausage).
  7. Serve and enjoy!
