We fry bologna in the south! We also eat red hot dogs! Why not combine the two? This "bolo dog" recipe will give you a true taste of southeast North Carolina!
Ingredients & Toppings:
- One 1 lb Bag of Bright Leaf Hot Dogs
- One Pack of Bright Leaf Pork & Beef Bologna
- Slices of Your Favorite Cheese
- Mustard and/ or Ketchup
- Butter
- Hot Dog Buns

Cooking Instructions:
- Grab Bright Leaf Hot Dogs and Bologna and the other ingredients you need at the store!
- Throw the hot dogs on the grill and cook for 5 - 6 minutes on one side
- Turn the hot dogs over and cook for another 3 - 5 minutes.
- While the hot dogs are cooking, toast the buns with butter.
- Remove the hot dogs from the grill and put them to the side
- Put a small drizzle of oil in a frying pan and heat to medium
- Put a slice of bologna in heated pan and brown on both sides and place cheese on bologna before removing from the pan
- Remove the bologna from the pan and put it on the toasted buns.
- Add a cooked Bright Leaf Hot Dog.
- Dress the hot dog with your choice of condiments
- Take a bite
- Enjoy!
