Have you ordered the Big Dog at Bojangles? It's a delicious Bojangles chicken strip in a hot dog bun with pickles and Carolina gold sauce. We tried and liked it, so here's a version by a Bright Leaf fan with Bright Leaf Bacon for a homemade twist!
Ingredients:
- (1) 12 oz. Pack of Bright Leaf Bacon (hickory-smoked, sugar-free)
- (2) Chicken Tenders
- Smokin' Bones BBQ Rub - Hook'em Seasoning
- Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Mustard
- Mt. Olive Sweet Heat Jalapeño Chips
- Hot Dog Buns

Cooking Instructions:
- Grill Chicken: Season chicken tenders with Hook 'em and grill until fully cooked and temperature of chicken is 165 F. (about 4 - 5 minutes per side).
- Cook Bacon: While the chicken is grilling, cook Bright Leaf Bacon until desired crispiness.
- Assemble: Place grilled chicken tenders in a bun and add bacon strips.
- Top It: Drizzle honey mustard and top with Mt. Olive Sweet Heat.
- Serve: Enjoy your Bird Dog with Bright Leaf Bacon!
