Uncooked SLICES of Country Ham are vacuum sealed – can be kept without refrigeration up to 2 weeks and refrigerated up to 2-3 months. Before frying, you might want to soak the slices for 10-20 minutes to reduce the traditional saltiness. They are best heated in a skillet until the fat around the edges turns brown.
