It's hard to beat Fair Food. This recipe brings the Fair to you. We took Bright Leaf Country-Style Fresh Sausage, dipped it in Atkinson's Pancake Batter mixed with Bright Leaf Bacon, and then fried it! Your house will smell like the State Fair, and you'll be tasting it too.
Ingredients:
- (1) 16 oz. Pack of Bright Leaf Fresh Country-Style Sausage
- (1) 12 oz. Pack of Bright Leaf Bacon
- (1) Pack of Atkinson's Pancake Mix
- (1) Bottle of Syrup
- (1) Pack of Skewers

Cooking Instructions:
- Cut the Bright Leaf Fresh Sausage into about 2-inch links.
- Roll the sliced links to make them skinnier and longer
- Heat the stove to medium, grab a pan, drizzle some oil and cook the fresh sausage until it's done.
- Next, cook the Bright Leaf Bacon according to the instructions on the pack.
- Then chop the bacon into pieces.
- After the sausage and bacon are ready, make the pancake batter in a large cup or mason jar big enough for dipping and add the bacon pieces.
- Our skewers were too big, so we cut them in half and then stuck them into the cooked sausage links.
- It's finally time to dip! Take the sausage link with the skewer, dip the whole sausage, and roll it around in the cup or jar.
- Then, drop it in a pot of oil and fry until golden brown (about 2 - 4 minutes)
- Let it cool, and then dip it in syrup.
- Enjoy!
