Smoked Sausage with Peppers Onions and Rice

Ingredients

1 lb Brightleaf Smoked Sausage (cut into bite-sized pieces)
1 cup Uncle Ben's Rice
1 green Bell Pepper (sliced)
1 red Bell Pepper (Sliced)
1 Large onion (Sliced)
2 Tablespoons Butter or Margarine
1 Teaspoon Sugar
 

Directions

In medium saucepan, cook rice as directed on box.
Drain and set aside.
In large pan, slowly melt margarine (or butter).
Saute peppers and onions (about 5 minutes)
Sprinkle with sugar and add Brightleaf sausage.
Cook on low-medium heat until sausages have browned to desired color.
Serve over bed of rice.
