1/2 stick salted butter (no margarine),
1 tsp. Sazon ( Badia),
1 tsp. O 'Bay,
1/2 tsp. Lemon Pepper,
1-2 tsp. Texas Pete Hot Sauce,
12-16 Jumbo Raw Shrimp, cleaned and deveined ( tails on),
4 Bright Leaf Smoked Sausages (sliced),
1 pack of Little Potato Potatoes(Garlic Parsley flavored),
1/2 each of a red, yellow and orange bell peppers (diced),
2-4 Green Giant corn on the cob ( thawed),
fresh chopped flat leaf parsley.
Makes 2-4 foil packets depending on size.
STEP 1: In a medium saucepan and on low heat, melt butter and add Sazon, O'Bay, Lemon Pepper, Hot Sauce, Black Pepper. Season to taste and remove from heat.
STEP 2: In a nonstick skillet, preheat on medium heat and cook sausage until browned on both sides. Place in a large bowl and cool to room temperature.
STEP 3: Discard paper from the package and microwave as directed (approximately 4-5 minutes). If this brand cannot be found, you may substitute using 2-15 small new potatoes. Cool to room temperature.
STEP 4: Mix sausage and potatoes with the butter sauce. Add the garlic and parsley seasoning pack from the package and mix well.
STEP 5: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Take two sheets of aluminum foil and cross lengthwise in the shape of a "T". In the center of the foil, place diced peppers, sausage & potatoes, corn on the cob (in the center) and jumbo shrimp. Tuck lemon slices around the edges. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Pour seasoned butter all over.
STEP 6: Fold and cover completely. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes until shrimp are done (longer if the oven temperature may vary). Serve hot and garnish with a sprinkle of O'Bay and fresh parsley. ( Photo of dish is available)
