Four Bright Leaf smoked sausages sliced into half inch disks
Small onion diced up
Can RoTel
Can black beans
Can pinto beans
Can navy beans


Grill onions in large sauce pan
Add sausage and render a bit
Add canned items (I rinse each can and add the water)
Simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally
Viola, a hearty fall dish.
Serve with rolls or cornbread
I call it border beans, for all the colors come together,
with each adding a uniqueness to a beautiful dish.
